Merry Christmas!

Christmas in Florida has been a tradition that we have been able to have since we got married. The drive from Virgina was supposed to be about 14 hours but ended up taking 16 on the way down due to the fact that we were stuck in traffic almost the whole way.

This year was a lot of fun we got to take Madison to the beach and we also went bowling and to a battle re-enactment at the Dade Battlefield.

The most exciting news from Christmas was that Phil's Brother Scott got engaged and we got to spend most of Christmas with his new finance Celeste. (She is the one with Madison in the first picture!) Welcome to the Family Celeste, but don't say I didn't warn you!

It was very fun to be there and for everyone to get to see Madison. She was the center of attention most of the week of course! Well maybe its a toss up between her and the X-box 360...

I have more pictures I will most likely post again soon. I am sure I will have plenty more very soon as we are counting down the days to Snowbird and all the snowboarding we will get to be doing in about a week!

Hot Chocolate!

Yesterday we went to see the lights at the temple it was freezing cold! Then we came home and had Hot Chocolate! We think it might have made her a little hyper because she was up and happy until like 11:30 last night and very gigglely!

So I really liked these pictures! In the first one Madison is watching Phil play his video game. The second of course is just her with food all over her face. We just started her on solids recently and she seems to do very well with them!

Upon Request

Upon repeated request from friends, I have decided to finally make a family blog. I guess people what to know what's going on in our lives without having to actually talk to us. I don't blame them, really... so here you go this is our blog! Plus it gives me the chance to show off our adorable daughter and alllllll the pictures I take of her on a regular basis.

For those just joining us we are currently living in Alexandria Virgina and have a 4 month old little girl named Madison. Phil works for Senator Bennett and has been since March of this year. He works on agriculture and energy issues and really enjoys the people he works with. I am no longer working as of December 14th (hooray!!). I have really enjoyed working in Washington. It has been a very unique experience and I have met a ton of really wonderful people. So, happy as I am to be able to stay home with Madison, I am sad to be leaving the company I work for.
