The wait is over...

So Phil has been asking me for a dog ever since we got married 6 years ago. I keep telling him we need to have a yard first and the kids need to be old enough to take care of it so I don't have to. However we have realized recently we really don't have to wait, because we already have a little Fido running around the house!

She begs for food and eats scraps from the table

 She chews on shoes and everything else.

She drools A LOT!

She will eat anything, we have to clean up after her and she is smelly!

She greets you at the door when you come home and is always happy to see you.

She plays fetch, likes to play in the toilet (she would drink it I'm sure if she could get her head in there), often rummages through the trash can and loves to play chase.

So no more waiting for a dog ...

we already have a cute cuddly chubby one we love very much who we affectionately call Chubbers! However we think Samantha is much cuter than a dog and she has also learned a great deal more than these things in her first 12 months of life.

She is a smiley and happy baby who brings us many smiles and laughs. She has a "hi" to pass along to anyone who will listen. Playing peek a boo and chase are a sure way to get a laugh out of her.
