Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving as I am sure more of you do! Its really a great holiday when you boil it down because you get to be with friends and family and eat lots of great food, and you don't have to exchange gifts or anything! Until Phil and I moved to the other side of the country it was our tradition to go to my parents house for Thanksgiving, in fact it was over thanksgiving that Phil proposed to me in San Fransisco (but that's a story for another time).

It's sad to be so far from family for the holidays but I do love that we have so many friends here that are sweet enough to invite us into their home to share their wonderful hospitality and food! I recognize cooking Thanksgiving dinner is no small task and I don't exactly look forward to the day that I will have to do it myself. For now I can say a HUGE thank you to the Evans and their kindness and friendship in letting us share thanksgiving with them and cooking the most amazing Turkey!

So much fun and such good food! I can't wait till next Thanksgiving! You have to take note of the adorable pine cone turkeys, the kids got such a kick out of these and they were a really adorable why to bring in the fun thanksgiving decor! All hand made mind you! Some people just amaze me, by their talent and creativity! :)
