Madison's new room!

I have been on a major decorating kick since we got tv. Its fun but decorating cost money so I haven't really been able to do too much, it does force me to be creative which is a good thing.

This room was based all around the green shelf that I got in the IKEA as-is section for $2.00. The remaining items for decorations consist of dollar store baskets, frames and pinwheels, A pick nick table cloth, place mats, a cupboard door, ribbon, plastic dinner plates and post cards! It was fun to find all this bright colored stuff and I think it turned out pretty cute considering it was all done for under about $15!I like the pinwheels I think they are my favorite part!

This was a fun little project, I am not sure I am totally finished with it though...

Madison enjoying her new vinyl rug! Hey at least its spill proof right?

If anyone has any additional tips for decorating on a budget or suggestions for the new room please do share!

You are so awesome! If you can make things look this cute for under $15 then I can't wait to see what you can do when money isn't quite such an issue. I wish I had just a little bit of decorating skills. Good job! So cute!

Em,

It looks amazing. I can't believe it only cost you $15. I would've been so jealous that you have decorating money to go spend. Now I realize I have no excuse for not decorating, when you did an amazing job with $15. Totally cool.

This looks great. I love bright colors, especially for a baby :) Can you paint? That always helps spruce things up a little and isn't too expensive!

Wow is all i have to say you are amazing I hope I can make my house look that cute ( when I have one of course) for that cheap :) isn't it great that the cheaper you can do something the more impressive it is. I love you lots and it looks like you have found a love for HGTV :) I love you lots.
