Halloween 2010

Sorry one more catch up post! There may be more too, it just depends how much I can get done before Phil gets home tonight.

October 2010

I love Halloween and I usually find a way to get us dressed up and have a Halloween party. The last two years have come and gone with now party but we did manage to throw some costumes together for the ward Halloween party!

Safari guides and our Safari Lionesses!
I had no idea what we were going to do for costumes as of that day but stop by Unique Thrift (the best second hand store ever!) and found these matching lion costumes for $2 and it all came together so nicely I couldn't resist!

Dave our neighbor loves to scare people so Halloween is one of his favorite holidays! I just love this picture, it was totally spontaneous Treona had no idea!

This was from the costume parade at the church.

Madison showing off her stash of candy.

She just looked so cute all chubby and lion like!

I also took Madison to the mall for the Disney Story Halloween celebration it was really cute they had the kids play some games and then walk around one end of the mall in their costumes. She made a very pretty Princess Aurora!
She cut in line so she could hold the store attendants hand for the parade.

We also took Madison to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out her pumpkins to carve and decorate. She liked the "old pumpkins"! The old pumpkins were the pumpkins with the warts all over them and she thought they were very funny so we had to get one of those to take home also.

The Nursery by our house does a small pumpkin patch each year with some fun play stuff Madison had a blast.
Driving the wagon was probably her favorite part.

Of course she liked riding it in too!

I like this one because she looks like she is running away from that bat decoration in Terror!

Then we also carved the pumpkins with our neighbor. Samantha took to eating the pumpkin guts that Madison flung all over the patio.

Madison wanted to do a silly pumpkin so hers is the one with the tongue hanging out!

Mimicking her silly pumpkin

stuffing her face with pumpkin seeds!

We also got to go out to a Haunted house with our Neighbors! That was a fun and not so fun night! I really hate getting scared but it was fun to go out without kids with our friends because we do that so rarely!
