I plan to stay updated on the kiddos and what they are doing and how they are changing, but this time I have to document my new favorite toy. Phil was very generous with my Christmas gift this year and got me something I really really really wanted, but in no way expected.
This lovely new Canon Camera.
I thought I would share a few of my favorite pictures with you that I have have taken with this lovely piece of equipment.
My favorite part is that you really don't have to know what you are doing to take good pictures with it, at least when you use the automatic setting that is. Now the trick it to learn how to really use it so I can take GREAT pictures! Unfortunately I am not a very patient learner so wish me luck with this new endeavor.
I figured since I am sharing these pictures to show off my cameras abilities I would sort of make it a simple time line of our last two month since I last posted two birds with one stone kind of thing! So here we go....

Oh my those pictures are so beautiful! I sooo want a really nice camera like yours. One day!!! In the meantime, do e-mail me pics you take of my kids for me. :)

Hello long lost friend!
I am so sorry that we have not gotten together yet. My goal is to get over their by the end of this month. I can't believe how much Madison has grown. She is looking like a little girl! Samantha is growing fast too. Like your new Christmas present.
What awesome pictures! I love the one of Madison looking up at the camera in her Christmas dress, and the one of Grammy and Samantha looking at each other.
I don't think you should give the camera all the credit though. It takes a photographer to take great pictures like that, right?! :)
Em, I LOVE IT!! I'm terrible at that as well. I love seeing pictures and hearing about your family. We miss you guys so much.
