Laundry...
Madison discovered awhile ago if she brings her stool out of the bathroom there are a lot more things she can reach and help with, like cooking for one, but her most recent fix has been on helping put the clothes in the washer. I love it when she helps me, and I know I need to appreciate her willingness while it lasts!!
Haircut...
I know a lot of people feel this way but I hate getting my hair cut. I really really really HATE it I know that's a strong word but its a strong feeling. I always agonize over it forever before I actually go get it done. Then I spend too much time looking up different salons and trying to find coupons so I can go somewhere they speak English and not have to pay and arm and a leg! Alas I go and get it done and then I hate it for about two weeks then I eventually figure it out and in the end its pretty manageable.
This most recent experience was not quite the same to my great relief! I was approached in the Target parking lot by a woman who presented me with a 20% off coupon for a salon in the mall. I had considered getting my haircut so I called set an appointment for that night and got it cut. The guy was great and I liked the cut the very next day. He did a great job of hiding the terrible job I had done cutting my own bangs recently. I did have to pay way too much as far as I am concerned, but maybe its worth it in the end.
Anniversary...
Friday the 5th was our 6 year Anniversary it is an even year, 2010, so I was in charge of planning it. I didn't tell Phil I was doing anything so he took it upon himself to make arrangements for babysitting (which worked out since we had family in town for the blessing too!) And he found a great restaurant near his work to take me to. It was really nice, I love it when he plans it, it makes me feel special. He also went above and beyond and surprised me with a little gift! Earings to match the necklace he gave me when Madison was born. They are beautiful and I was totally surprised which is always a bonus! I let Phil believe I hadn't planned anything when in fact I purchased tickets to go see Brian Regan... Which we will get to go see next weekend, another bonus for us since we get to go out twice.
Babysitting...
I love free babysitting Phil's Brother and his wife and my Dad were kind enough to babysit for us on Fiday so we could go out for our anniversary. I know the only goal when you ask someone else to watch your children for free is that they are alive and well when you come home at the end of the night. However its nice to know they are taken care of! I have only just realized how hard it can be on me to leave them, even with people I trust with my life. Its good to know they are in good hands even if I worry!
Bull Run Park...
It was so much fun to have Papa Capson and Uncle Scott and Aunt Celeste in town for Samantha's blessing this last weekend. Other than babysitting for us and hanging out with our kids we decided to try a little hike, when we started looking for something fun we decided on a walk around the Bull Run Battlefield in Mananas. It was a nice little walk which would have been even better if the wind wasn't so cold...
No Celeste did not do her hair like that on purpose it was just really windy...
The park has little descriptions all around of events and movements that happened during the battle so that was fun and educational too.
Apparently it wasn't entertaining enough for Scott and Celeste, this is them racing sticks under the bridge...
Blessing...
I love baby blessings, I always have they are sweet and I am always touched. Its even better when its your own child being blessed by your own wonderful husband. It was a beautiful blessing and Samantha was her perfect calm self through the whole thing. It really makes me appreciate the priesthood and the blessing it is to have that in my home.I think one of the most special moments of this weekend was that Samantha was blessed in the same dress that my mom and myself were both blessed in. Its nice to be able to have sentimental moments like that to share with my family.

Me and Samantha
I think Samantha is the chubbiest of the three of us however I believe I run a very close second in my baby picture. The dress also created the biggest challenge for the day since Samantha is a bit of a spitter we had to try really hard to keep her from spitting up too much on the antique dress.
It was really nice to have so many people there to support us! Thanks to all who came.

That was really sweet and I love the pictures of you and mom as babies in the same dress. I feel the same way about Mya and her helping out. I want to keep up her enthusiasm and hopefully make it last as long as it can! I'm glad you had a fun anniversary and your hair looks great!
Love you!
